Business Development

As an interim manager and consultant with a background in natural sciences, I support pharmaceutical companies in business development & licensing and biotech / start-up companies in their partnering activities. In addition, I supplement teams of service providers and consultant companies in the life science space, contribute with external know-how, help to bridge vacancies and to implement projects in a timely manner.

I contribute with my experience and high social skills from > 15 yeas as a manager in different corporate cultures (from matrix to start-up) as well as 8 years as an independent interim manager, consultant, trainer and business coach.

As a trainer, I design and execute tailor-made specialist training courses as well as seminars, workshops and lectures on products, business development and market access.

As a business moderator, I structure strategy meetings, workshops, etc., and efficiently guide both management and project teams to achieve their goals. In doing so, I actively involve all participants and secure the results for implementation. Thereby the participants focus on the content and not lose themselves in endless discussions.

Managed international cross-functional due diligence teams to license biologics. Aligned with internal functions such as management. Conceptualized and executed a team workshop module.

Secured a structured licensing process for a phase III antibody in oncology and gained license applicants.

Designed and established a "Career Coach for the Life Sciences" workshop lasting several days: compiled the trainer's guide, aligned the guide with the HR department, and run the workshop regularly.

Provided a clear understanding of the later licensability of a product candidate for asthma and determined the reimbursement risk according to the German AMNOG.

Established approximately 30 strategic CRO alliances worldwide for joint international clinical studies according to ICH-GCP.

Private biotech company

Secured corporate financing and created essential prerequisites for the IPO by negotiating and concluding a license agreement for the lead product in oncology with a regional pharmaceutical company and other license and option agreements.

Private educational institution
